How much does it cost to advertise on social media?

As part of our initial discussions with you, we ascertain an appropriate Facebook budget for your business, however, we would not normally suggest a budget less than $2,500 p/month for an e-commerce.

What kind of return on ad-spend can I expect?

Due to Facebook being a live marketplace with a forever changing algorithm, we can never promise results, however, we generally like to see a minimum ROAS of about 3

Will Facebook or Instagram drive better results for ecommerce?

It’s impossible to know the answer to that without first testing the platforms and placements. We always suggest setting aside a testing budget so that we can discover what works best for your business. However, due to the fact we are bidding in a live marketplace, what was working a month ago may not necessarily work next month, so it’s important we continuously test and learn.

I’ve tried Facebook Ecommerce before but I couldn’t work out if it was the ads or my website that were preventing success. How do you know?

There are several stats we look at with our ads and the website to ascertain performance. These are based on our experience as well as industry data. For the ads we look at statss including click through rate (CTR), cost per click (CPC) and cost per thousand impressions (CPM). When it comes to the website itself we assess this during our auditing phase but do note certain stats during the campaign such as the add to cart rate and click to conversion rate.
